RAIL RUNNER LATE-NIGHT TRAIN

Starting June 1, a late-night southbound train departs the Santa Fe Depot Station at 10:05 pm during all Summer Scene Railyard concerts and makes every stop between Santa Fe and Downtown Albuquerque. Whether you’re coming from Albuquerque or stopping down the line in Santa Fe, the Rail Runner’s new schedule makes it easy to hop on the train and have some fun! See the full schedule here.

BOB SCHNEIDER

Summer Scene kicks off with Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter and former frontman of The Ugly Americans and The Scabs, Bob Schneider is one of the most-celebrated musicians in the live music capital. Schneider’s music spans genres, blending elements of folk, rock, rap, funk, bluegrass, reggae and country with the more traditional singer/songwriter aesthetic. In short, FRUNK.

DUMPTRUCK

Dumptruck formed in Boston MA in the mid-80's. Their sound blends jangle pop, country, and post-punk, often drawing comparisons to bands like R.E.M. and Television. They released three critically acclaimed LP's but were then sidelined by a three year lawsuit with their former label. In the early 1990s, founding member Seth Tiven moved to Austin TX, where he continued to record and release four more Dumptruck albums, a greatest hits compilation, and a solo record. Dumptruck relocated to Albuquerque NM in 2024 and remains active, playing and producing new music.

Join us at the Summer Scene tent for a free, family-friendly craft activity from 6-8pm.

We are endlessly grateful to all our sponsors who make these events possible!
